Skydiving is a blend of challenge and pure exhilaration, and every seasoned skydiver once stood exactly where you are now. We’re thrilled you’ve found your way here, and we can’t wait to help you experience the sky like never before!
To make sure your skydiving experience is as safe and fun as it is exciting, here are a few simple requirements:
Your skydiving journey kicks off with our First Jump Course (FJC), a 4- to 6-hour session in a small-group setting. You’ll start in the classroom, where you’ll get to know the gear, learn how to stay safe in the plane, and understand how to control your parachute (also called a canopy).
After that, it’s time to start your ground work! You’ll practice with our mock airplane door, enhanced pictures of the landing area, and even mock skydiving gear (rig) to help your guided instruction.
Plan to hang out with us at the drop zone (DZ) for the day, and if the weather cooperates, you could make your first skydive today!
Skydive Tennessee is proud to be a United States Parachute Association (USPA) member drop zone. That means we follow all of the USPA’s safety guidelines, use only USPA-certified instructors, and provide the top-notch gear and training required by the organization.
You can join the USPA at anytime, but you’ll need to become a USPA member before your first solo jump. Your instructors are here to answer any questions you have!
The USPA has designed quizzes for skydiving students. Your A License card and paperwork lets you know when to take each one.
A few things to remember:
Want to bundle? We’ve got you.
Note: Students earn their A-License after completing all requirements and a minimum of 25 jumps.
*Disclaimer: Skydive Tennessee does not offer any refunds, however you have 24 months from the date of purchase to use any money on your account.
